A brief Yacht-Master II review I found ...
Rolex Yacht-Master II - Classic Driver - MAGAZINE - Classic Life
"The Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master II regatta chronograph is intended for “experienced skippers as well as yachting enthusiasts”. It is the first watch to have a programmable countdown feature with a mechanical memory – a timer which can be adjusted to start between one and ten minutes in advance, depending on the start sequence of a regatta." http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/maga...0.asp?id=13449

Hope the yachts the experienced yachtsmen sail look better than the YM II.I wonder ... .... do Rolex think yachtsmen have no sense of style ?? Wonderful mechanical mechanism screwed by an ugly design .....

While reading that review and looking at the pictures I thought the WG YM II might be growing on me and then I realised I was just trying to like the bloody awful POS.
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY did they make this watch and WHO decided that dial looked good ???????? The case looks great and in WG the bezel too, but that dial is just awful IMO. |
