Smurf Sub Review

Well, after a couple of weeks of ownership, I can state that I love how the watch still flies under the radar. To me, even with the diamonds, it is very subtle when wearing. The weight is felt upon putting it on the wrist but soon fades. The blue color also shows different shades depending on light/sunlight. The blue goes really well with most colors. I also feel how unique the blue dial/bezel is as most of the professional line is black or white. The blue lume is great and although it's only on the hands and 6,9, 12 it is more than enough to tell the time in the dark. Love the new clasp, it is by far one of their best innovations. It is a great change of pace in my collection and I am ecstatic when I get a chance to wear it. The price is not for the faint of heart and you will have some major angst in purchasing one as I was having buyer's remorse before I received the watch but all has faded and am happy I moved on the watch.

she's a beaut... very little low comp on this as far as I've seen.
Can only imagine retail - 10% is quite high. Have not seen this
iteration w/ diamond face as yet. shows incredible.

enjoy her!

Wow, never seen one with diamond dial. Diamonds really go well with the watch. Looks beautiful.

Generally I'm not a fan of diamonds on a Rolex. However, on this watch it looks great.
Congratulations on picking up a real beauty.

Not to hijack, but I wanted to compare side by side pics of these 2 to see the difference not with standing the TT bracelet and the bezel insert/numbers color. Only cause I have never seen this model in person

Totally a different look Rick, thanks. It's a beauty, I will always wonder if I should have got the WG instead. Although I have warmed up to mine quite a lot lately

The TT Smurf is gorgeous, yet one can immediately see the WG Smurf is on a different level.
