Ok, be honest, is Panerai really a daily wearer?
I need the truth before buying mine. I'm getting close!
My lifestyle- Daytime = lawyer Evenings = dinner out, movies, hanging with friends, and of course wife and kids (4 and 17) Weekends = anything goes Vacations 4x year = Hawaii to Carib to Europe, etc. Can this watch hang? PAM 359 Thanks! |

very much so..but you gotta get your cuffs altered or wear the piece on thin oem croc...
for your lawyer duties.. rubber for your water sports/vacations nice calf/ammo for everything else... that the beauty of PAMs..the straps make it comfortable in all settings...

Thanks! I hadn't really considered the rubber but it would be a replacement for the normal sports stainless. |

Panerai watches can be worn for any reason you like. Won't harm the watch, imo (save for construction or ditch digging kind of activity :D)

All watches are made to be used daily. Why fear? Go, buy, wear and enjoy

I wanna reiterate what some of the other guys said- the rubber strap and calf straps definitely give it a more casual edge!

Mine probably gets 80% of wrist time. But, there are some times when a SS bracelet feels good.

If its what you like than go for it! I wear a Breitling SO steelfish as my daily, and its a pretty beefy watch. And i also wear a sportshirt to work everyday (almost). I think size is relative on a watch. If its comfortable and it is what u want than why should anything else stop you?

The only issue would be the size/height of the case fitting inside your cuffs. The watch itself can be dressy on an oem croc or casual on an ammo strap and is definitely a daily wearer.

I'll go out on a limb here and say no, not in your line of work.
The Panerai is a very large and obvious watch - not subtle and can look brash. I'd have thought it would give the wrong signals to your clients. The first time I saw a Panerai was on the wrist of a derivatives trader in a meeting. It stood out a mile. I love my 112 but rarely wear it for work. I have had a few comments on the size of the watch when I have worn it with a suit so it means people really do notice - and that's not a good thing. I would err on the side of caution and wear it with casual only.

Like others mentioned, it's a matter of altering other things around your watch. It was my daily wear for 7 years and no issues.

Only problem with wearing my PAM 351 during work is fitting it my shirt sleeves.

Sort of.
I wear this for work and any activity where I expect to be sweaty. And for everything else, this has been the default choice since I got it. |

Get your shirts custom made! That way there are never any issues fitting the watch under your cuff.
When I got my first Pam I was afraid to leave the house with it. Now I wear them everywhere at any time. I have trained myself to protect the watch. I don't even realize that I am doing it anymore. And, you should have 2 Panerai. One to make a subtle but reassuring statement to your clients, and the other to make a big and bold statement to your opponents! Cheers. |

I find that Radiomir can go with a dress shirt.
My Luminors only go with a rolled sleeve. |
