Most popular Sub then Daytona..then ???
Personally I feel that Sub's and DSSD's (I feel that a DSSD is in the Sub family)
In the current Rolex model lineup----which ones are most popular 1) Sub (LV,LN,LB...TT) 2) DSSD 3) Daytona 4) Datejust 5) Milgauss Opinions ? |

Datejust / Daydate are definitely the most popular in the Rolex lineup. If you meant the professional series then yes, the submariner wins.

Worldwide the Datejust is #1, then I would guess is the Submariner.

not unpopular as such just far more expensive than a steel sub , GMT etc etc Thus less people are able to afford/willing to spend so much

I worked at a Rolex AD 30 years ago when I was in college. For every sports model that was sold we moved at least 10 Datejusts.

Today, a sports model can be worn in a business setting. All right, my DSSD does not fit with closely trimmed French cuffs but the Daytona certainly works and I frequently wear one of my beloved GMTs. Rolex sports models (and Omegas, PAMS, etc.) abound in the wild for work, play, casual and dress. Sports watches used to be seen as a casual or active wear watch. James Bond certainly helped re-define this as did nore and more men, typically younger, wearing their sports model Rolex wathes everyday to their suit and tie jobs. BTW, they're great on weekends as well. My point is that the Datejust appears ubiquitous but only when considering years and decades of sales. I would think that today the Subs and GMTs are what the Datejust was at one time.M |

I think they're pretty popular, however the cost to buy one has a great affect on how many people actually get one.

Yeah I'd say date/just by far as top seller !
Then the Sub but I not sure how the GMTII-C impacted this prior to the Sub-C release ! |

Datejust
Submariner They're everywhere, so incredibly common. Then Day-Date and GMT. Daytonas are NOT common on wrists in public.

Come to NYC! I was at the Yankees playoff game a couple nights back - swear it seems like they were handing out Daytonas at the gate.

Most sold (how else to define popular) has to be the DJ's by a mile. Least popular is probably the Daytona or Milly.

Sub, GMT and Daytona sales are all pretty similar for us, Subs are the most popular right now. Sell a lot of Datejusts as well

Anyone who doesn't put DateJust #1 doesn't know Rolex. I see more DJs then all models combined by far.
