Hey guys...

Did you ever wait and stare at your watch at 23:59......wait till it date jump

Or you may simply turn your watch to 23:59 and see the date jump.

I was wondering whether how accurate of individual watch and it date jump at 00:00. Or is that any spec to judge, just like the movement COSC certified at accurate from -4 sec & +6 sec a day. Does RSC taking care of this area during the watch service? I have a vintage watch (not rolex) the date stay unchanged till 00:45.

You can get it right on spot if you like but I will say if it´s before 00:05
so is it ok if it´s a current movement in your watch. If it´s a vintage one
so can it take a little longer.

It´s easy to fix, just pull off the hands and put them back again. Most
guys use to wait until next service, it´s better try to sleep at that time
when it happends.

Mine are anywhere from a couple minutes before midnite to about four minutes after.

I'm afraid that I have to admit.....it's not really something I have ever really paid much attention to....

It´s nearly the same as the hole in JJ´s clasp.

And they use to say that I have too much time, but not in this company I guess.

Well....it is secondary important and it's just like a minor scratch on watch.
I don't really pay much attention too.

My Sub is new, and changes at about 00:05. It made me ask around, too... It makes that cool distinct "click" when it changes.

My SD is around 2 min after midnight and it magically clicks.

Mine has always turns 3 minutes past midmight...give and take +/- 30 seconds.

Ah I'm not alone! Based on this additional info, I'm demanding a replacement today. Luckily I noticed the Laings (Edinburgh) had another two GMTs in the window, one with a Pepsi and one with a black/red dial. I'll update ASAP.

P.S. Apologies for not checking this thread before posting but in my defense I logged on at 01.00 and wrote a quick post after much post midnight annoyance (read extreme annoyance) when my shiny new GMT failed to perform as expected!!

Once again, this is without a doubt the most friendly forum on the web! I salute you!

My jeweller rebuilt my movement and it took him I think 1 month. When my date changes at 11:15pm either half of the date comes down or the top of the date numbers is peeking from the bottom. I have to adjust the date to fit square in the window everyday. I give up.

Mine changes at about +4 minutes and 30+ seconds past midnight before clicking over.
