I'm so excited to watch this game. Wall Street Journal called it the "oversigning bowl" but I just want to watch good football tonight.
My thoughts are that it's tight to the end but LSU wins on a huge defensive stop in the final minute. |

I'm thinking LSU but it will be interesting to see.
For me, ideally even the winner looks bad so Stanford can move up . . . |

You would think that there would have been some type of advertising if this is some type of big important game. At least ESPN could have mentioned it or something.

Once Alabama made it to the LSU 30, The tigers allowed -17 yards for the entire game. WOW.

Like two heavyweights slugging it out.
As much of an SEC guy as I am, I will go on record that I would NOT be in favor of a rematch in the BCS title game. They may both be the 2 best teams, but at this point, if you can't win your conference title, then you shouldn't be playing for the National Championship. Now if only we had a playoff... dare to dream! |

I agree. as an LSU fan I really don't want my boys to play alabama again. I feel they went into their house and won. why do they need to prove they can do it in the Louisiana Superdome? LSU still has Ark and SEC title game to get over before they can start talking about it anyway.

Arky could be the tough one. LSU most likely faces UGA in the SECCG... they are playing better than they were at the beginning of the season, but LSU & 'Bama are head & shoulders above them. All LSU has to avoid is that one scary game where "bad Les" comes out. So far, I've been very impressed w/ the play & discipline of the Tigers.

I thought it was a really boring game.
And I think the college football OT rules are awful. |

I can see where you may have thought it was boring. I know that LSU and BAMA are very pumped up. It is a rivalry game since they hired $aban. 2 very strong defensive units that flexed their muscles. I enjoyed it and as a fan of one of the teams playing I was on the edge of my seat. It was a throw back game. Love defense. running up the scoreboard is not always fun either. 45-10 is a little boring as well.
