Tudor Advisor Already a Flop?

Talked to two stores that carry Tudor and both informed me they likely will not "carry" the Advisor. Not that, of course, they couldn't order it....

Seems to me this "might" indicate the watch itself might not be projected to sell too well....

Oh well, I still think I want it, and bodes well, I hope, for some nice size discounts down the road....

The Tudor's have never sold well here in Canada. Even with the Tudor Heritage Chrono.......a few months after all the hype died down, the dealers have the same models sitting in the display case collecting dust.

I doubt the New Advisor will be a hit... But maybe a future collectible one, if it sells badly !

THIS!

I like it, but will only buy it at a steep discount.

How is that since Tudor isn't sold in the USA? Tudor site: please note Tudor watches are not avaiable for sale in the United States.

From wikipedia
Sales of the Tudor line were discontinued in the United States in 2004

I dont like it, the dial is all over the place. But as already stated, might be a future collectable if that is of any interest.

"I like it, but will only buy it at a steep discount."

Agree; but I'll buy to wear, not in contemplation as a potential future collectable....

Just me.

Absolutely. I want one. Not at the retail price. Only at steep discount - because that steep discount is what I think it's really worth.

I've been looking at our ADs here for one of these but still not in yet, i i really want one and think that by Christmas if I can't find one at a reasonable discount I may pay full retail for it, I think it's the best looking Tudor in a long time

No offense to any fans, but I just don't find it very appealing. It is a very classy... and "interesting" looking watch, but I think the other Tudors are much more attractive. Just MHO.

Sorry Patrick, missed your question. From my limited knowledge Tudor has not been available for regular retail sale in the US since the 90's. Exact time can be supplied by others I'm sure.

I think that it's a handsome watch, except for the two large crowns.

The alarm is not worth any amount of money to me, because I can't hear watch alarms and they only annoy those around me.

The Advisor's dial is sharp-looking, but a bit "busy" or cluttered in my ever-most-humble opinion. Tudor's new dive line (Pelagos, Black Bay), on the other hand, I find very appealing, largely because of the more classic, simple dials and, of course, beautiful cases. As always, beauty is in the eye...
