Made only in 2005 to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of Vacheron Constantin, the oldest operating watch manufacturer in the world. Upon announcement of this release, most of the 501 examples were pre-sold, making this one of the most difficult Vacherons to find. Very desirable, as this is the large 40mm case and an absolute stunner of a watch, with fine knurling on bezel and case-back, hand-guilloche dial, hour and minute hand in 18k gold, fan shaped, inspired by 1926 vintage Vacheron Constantin model. Seconds hand in blued-steel, baton shaped. Counter hands in blue steel, dagger-shaped. The dial bears a prestigious Poincon de Geneve quality hallmark, and 1755 – 2005 secret signature at ‘12’.

CONDITION: Mint, near perfect, never polished. True safe queen - bought by a collector in 2005, worn to one watch event and placed in the safe. The only time it has been worn, it was put on a different strap, so the original dark-brown alligator VC strap (which is on the watch now) is absolutely virgin. Pictures will tell the story!
