I just purchased a Tudor 7016/0 with a nice Tropic 19 and of course the acrylic had a few scratches and scuffs on it. I have no Polywatch right now and thought I would try the old toothpaste trick. WOW, the toothpaste worked much better than I had expected. I just dampened a cotton cloth and applied light toothpaste in a circular motion and viola! I am amazed how the scratch free acrylic adds such a fresh look to the watch.

Has anyone any experience with Polywatch? Do I ever need to use Polywatch if the toothpaste worked so well?

Awesome, so I can save myself the hassle of having to order Polywatch. I will just go to CVS and pick up more toothpaste!

Absolutely.....It's good for the gold too.

But some can be a bit abrasive so be carefull..

Don't use Pearl Drops tooth polish. My dentist cautioned against frequent use because it's more abrasive than most and will take off tooth enamel over time.
