Y-series 16570 does not have coronet on crystal

I'm currently considering a Y-series 16570

Reference says from 2001-onwards, a laser-etched coronet can be found at the 6 o clock of the crystal. Also, watch still has drilled lugholes, no ROLEXROLEX on the rehaut and the older style links. How many links does the standard strap has?

Thanks

Not sure what referece you are using.. The changeover for the coronet crystal was phased in from ~2001 through 2003, roughly, depending on the model.. The phase out of the drilled lugs is generally thought to be sometime during the Y serial release..

So, a Y serial, which was in production for about 4 years, could come with any combination of those attributes..

13 total, but I find it easier to just know that there should be three removable links.

Thanks guys. Should an F-serial contain the ROLEXROLEX in the rehaut already? the F-serial I'm looking at also does not have the coronet on the crystal

does this mean that the presence of three removable links already means that the strap is complete?

Thanks

. . . Thanks
An F serial is a little early to have the ROLEXROLEX rehaut on ss models, although some solid gold models did have this. An F should have an etched crystal, although perhaps not, depending if it's early or late in the production run..

You are asking for absolutes when there are none.. Rolex seldom starts or stops anything on a known time-table..

thanks to everyone, I finally made a purchase of an F-series 16570, with an etched crystal, non-drilled lugs and SEL :)
