Young chess player impressed by my Rolex!
I've owned a Rolex since February (GMT II) and for the first time since, someone made a comment on it.
This weekend, I was waiting for my chess game to start when my (young) opponent spotted the watch: 'Oh, you have a Rolex!?'. He was so impressed he lost the game. It did not have the same effect on all my opponents (pity). |

I play chess as well but just for fun. I am considered a pretty strong player by my family and friends but I am nothing more than an amateur when it comes to playing in a competition.
If I was playing chess with a person who was wearing a Rolex, I would be pretty distracted as well.

Tell him you won it in a chess game when you were 5. Say that in earshot of the other opponents.
