SS & Rose Gold Datejust

I'm in the market for a new Rolex & I really love this watch. Do you think Rose Gold is timeless or more of a trend? I've always been more of a SS/WG girl, but I find this watch to be so stunning! If you have one, please post pics.

I think rose gold is enjoying a surge in popularity and use right now but it will always be appreciated by some. Of course, there's rose gold and then there's rose gold; Rolex's rose gold IMO is one of the best looking.

i think it works well in the turnograph too, and you get a white face option too.

The rose gold is timeless and is stunning. My wife has a very similar watch to the one you are getting and three years ago got it in YG but she now wishes she would have went the rose gold route. I think she will go with a rose gold watch next time.

The SS/RG Jubilee Ladies Datejust is the third popular ladies Rolex watch in Japan in 2010 and I got this from a Japanese watch article.

My wife wears the same style of watch with an Oyster bracelet and a black dial and she loves it. She thinks the YG is too blingy.

Rose Gold is the way to go if you're going 2-tone. I've always liked it more than yellow.

As timeless as Yellow Gold, just a bit more original!

I think the biggest problem with it is that it's harder to make it fit with other jewels (if you have any) as I noticed RG isn't as popular as its two other siblings when it comes to other types of jewelry!

Carl, I've thought about that too. I'm hoping the SS will work with my WG jewelry.

I'm pretty sure it will fit very well, otherwise you'll have an excuse to buy a couple of rose gold pieces!

My wife and I really love ours. It has a warmer tone. It does not go well with YG jewelry, but SS, Platinum and WG go well with a 2-tone Rose and SS watch.

Rose Gold is awesome. Get whatever it is that you like and you will stand a much better chance of being happy. I like it so much I got two in Rose Gold.

I just got a rose gold stainless date just for my wife and she LOVES it.
Go for the rose gold and the black dial really sets it off.

Shelley judging by the tatts I asume that Rose Gold would be your only selection. I think it looks better than YG. Especially with a silver or black dial watch. Good luck with your purchase. Wear in good health. We need pics when you get it.

Get the watch that appeals to you. Othewrise, everyone would end up with a Sub. With all due respect to everyone else, all SS is the most timeless one.

You also could go the full measure with RG DD.

Rose gold is timeless...

Goes great with black dials. I never had an urge for a Datejust, but I saw this one and had to buy it. I still can't get enough of it!

That is a nice DJ, the two tone and dial color is a perfect match complimented by the diamond markers making it very classy for a lady.

I think all Rolex are timeless no matter the material. I like YG better but if you like the RG then go for it
