Welcome to TRF, I believe you'd have better chances of getting answers if you ask your thread to be moved in the Rolex discussion sub forum!
Is it an all gold Submariner or a Two-Tone?

Well according to the sale section on this forum Two-Tone Submariners will vary from 6,000 to 7,800 (I took a quick look at 4-5 models including serti dials). Perhaps you paid more than what you could have found over here but I'm pretty sure this is less than the retail price.
Either way I'm sure you have a great watch, would you have pictures of it?

Hey and welcome to the forum. You probably paid $3000-$3500 more than you should have.

If you got your watch from a Dealer, you paid exactly what they sell for and were listed for last year..
The latest version with the ceramic bezel and a slightly larger case list for 12,000

Yeah, that's what he's referring to. Topnotch watch does have very nice pieces for sale, but the pricing is definitely on the high side. For $9200 you could have purchased a mint 116613 LB (blue dial ceramic version) for a few hundred more.

You did not overpay too much. A used/preowned M Serial 16613 is needless to say cheaper. Enjoy your beautiful watch. |

I bought my TT black sub C in may before the price increase for 9k plus tax back in May. I think you overpaid maybe just a little but you did however get a brand new 16613lb. Those are about impossible to find brand new now so I would not lose sleep over it. New is what you wanted so that is what you paid for. That watch in blue IMHO is way better than the new Smurf blue.

Yes it is the pre ceramic however being new with stickers still on I would agree it is on the high side but nothing too crazy for an ebay deal. From everything I know of Topnotch they are a good outfit to work with.
Too late to worry now, next time just look around here on TRF and save some more $$$... Lets see some pics and welcome to TRF

I purchased a BNIB 16613 TT Bluesy from Oscar Bodybump in June of this year. If I remember, I paid around $7,500 U.S. It was a good time for me to purchase, as the Canadian dollar exchange was to my advantage so I came out of the deal lookin' good.
IMO, the discontinued 16613 deep blue effervescent color is miles better looking than the replacement model 116613 blue ceramic which looks faded or washed out to me. You may be interested in a comparative review between the discontinued 16613 and the new 116613 at www.luxurytyme.com . Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and open "older entries" on the left side. The review is on the first opening page. You may have paid on the high side, but it is still new and less expensive than the replacement, so enjoy what you have because they don't make 'em like that anymore. FYI, a new 116613 is 13G's in Canada. Enjoy your 16613 - it's a beauty! J. Alan |

It is a good choice, and maybe you paid a small premium, but it's a tough watch to find in new condition. I always have second thoughts when I drop 6 to 12 large on a watch. enjoy it and welcome to the forum.

I've considered buying from Topnotch as he has great eBay feedback. Even if you may have paid a little more, it may have been worth it to you knowing you were dealing with a solid seller.
You have a beautiful watch and we would love to see some photos. |
