Possible Trade-Need help

Hello TRF-ers. I highly value this forum and all of your opinions. I have a GMT IIc that I have worn daily for close to a year. She has the typical scratches and small dings that would be expected after wearing her for a year now. I also just purchased a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Automatic. I value the GMT IIc at $5,800 and the MB at $5,800.

Now my question is...would you sell or trade these two watches for a SS Daytona? I have always been in love with the Daytona and am seriously contemplating letting the MB and GMT go for a LNIB or BNIB Daytona.

I really could use some feedback!

Thanks in advance!

I think this is a very personal choice. I do not envy the choice. I like both the MB and the Rolex. Good luck with your research on the choice ahead of you. If it were me I think Id buy the Daytona, Then decide if you want to sell the others.

If it were me no I would not trade those two watches for a Daytona. The GMTIIc is a fabulous watch and you are giving up two watches for one. I think it is nice to have variety. I would just save up and buy the Daytona down the road.

Hi Brian, I just did a 2 for one deal and I regret it. I would hold off if I was you.

I'll go Less Is More.
Go on and try the Daytona on your wrist.
You may not want to take it off!
And you'll be grinning every time you look at the time.

It's up to you if you really like the Daytona but I don't think it's worth it. You have two great watches and one of them is very original, personally I would soon regret it.

It really depends on what you want to do, however I personally think the GMTIIC is a great watch and I would not want to give that one up.
