New Purchase

Did I do good or bad everyone?

Enclosed Rolex Sub TT, Serial T series, for $3,500.00 with trade-in of '89-90 Rolex Diamond 1.10 Bezel Datejust TT with jubliee band. Did I do a good job for the Submariner?

Can't comment on a good deal or not, but I like the look of this one!

Condition of the TT DJ would affect the final value in trade so have to pass on dollar comparison.

All in all, you have greater satisfaction with the TT Sub - so when you factor that in, it's a great deal.

Great looking watch and the deal is only as good as the pleasure you derive from it.

Your bracelet and ring are huge! Holy cow!

Having said that, your Submariner is a great piece, enjoy it and congratulations!

Great Looking two tone Submariner

About the price

A. Was it selling for 3500 (I doubt it) and you gave part exchange
your Jubilee diamond bezel DateJust plus $1500 cash ?
Or....
B. You gave $3500 cash... PLUS you Diam. Bezel 1989 Sapphire crystal DateJust ?

If it was A ...?...You did Very Well
If it was B ...?...You did not.

All in all - at the end ...the truth is that you got a much more desireable watch

By the way he describes it, he did B. I guess it all depends on how much his DJ was worth + $3500 cash. Looks like in the neighborhood of around $8000 he paid for the Sub all in all.

yeah, I got 3K for the datejust, but paid 3500 for it, but I really wanted a two-tone Submariner so I was ready to offload the DJ.
