I heard that Rolex does not service older watches. What currently is the cut-off point? I have a Datejust from 1991, can I still get that serviced?

A cut-off date would be a nice reference for us WIS's.lol...

I recently had a DJ from 1968 and another from 1966 serviced. From my experience, there are no hard and fast cut off points. Talk to your RSC and ask them if they can service your older watch.

Well I was going to do a thread to respond on servicing vintage but there have been countless threads in the Vintage Forum on this very subject as well as what constitutes vintage in the first place. So....search away!

Generally, if they have the parts in stock, they will service, if not, they won't..

Exceptions are the exotics... like Red Subs and the like...

But to the original post, a '91 is not an "old watch"... That's downright new in the world of Rolex..

Thanks for letting me know! I always want to get my watch serviced at an RSC instead of at a place that may not have genuine Rolex parts.
