hmmm I thought BMW was going to kill off the M3 sedan due to low sales. Well I guess calling M sedan the ///M4 is better than imbeciles running around calling the new M Coupe the M1.

Imbeciles?
First off its the 1M, secondly calling people insulting names because they might own a car you dont like is really rude and immature.
Maybe your anger stems from the new 1M smoking a 95 M3 in every performance category, by a wide margin. Regardless of the reason, its not called for.

You missed my point entirely, more to the point I have no idea in my previous statement where I typed that I dislike the New 1 series M coupe. My point was the people mistakenly calling the NEW 1 series ///M coupe the M1 is a terrible error. Perhaps imbecile was too harsh of a term, and I recant it.

BTW, I am surrounded by BMWs all day, I am well aware of the performance differences between the E36 M3 and the E82 ///M coupe.

I look for the M4 as a coupe based on the Z4 platform. It'd be different from the M3 and definitely NOT a 4-door.

The Z4 is very competitive but suffers from poor Cd with the removable hardtop. M4 should up the HP/Tq and become a racing choice for many drivers.
