Tip of the day!!!!

If you are using your camera with a flash in macro mode , try a bit of white tissue paper
in front of the flash as it acts as a diffuser so you cut out the strong reflection off the
glass.

Hello Julian,

thats really useless with this flash. I need to take almost 5 pages of a book to make a good photo. Next ones I will do with natural light ;)

Antonio, that watch looks great, but I'm with you, in macro mode it takes me forever to get a decent shot and then it still looks much worse than in person.

That is a sharp watch.

Hello Interested, what camera do you use?

From a Longines Ultra-Chron of 36,000 beats!

Looks cool, Antonio!

I hope it's not gaining 30+, that DJ!

Anyway, I once owned a DJ 16234 (WG bezel) with a blue dial exactly like yours.

My AD had a very old dial from the 1960ies or 70ies that I had put on the DJ, since I liked the "early" features of it:

1) Raised/pronounced middle section of the hour markers
2) ½-second divisions between the second markers.

You got a REALLY nice dial there for a 1986 DJ!

30+ is too low I think, In +13 hours it has gained/losed +-0 compared with my fresh quartz watch ;)

Btw, I confused the serials between the sellers! This one is from the ends of 1981, and the dial is a brand new one from January of this years, with Tritium on it.

The dial MUST be a NOS (New Old Stock) dial then, because:

1) Rolex would not make Tritium dials today
2) Rolex does not make those dials with ½-second markers anymore, and also not these kind of hour markers

Period!

+28 hours and... lost less than 1 second compared with a quartz!

That isnt bad, right?

Thank you all,
