For lovers of Rolex, Canon and Sport under lights in Sydney...

Great game in the T20 Big Bash League cricket match under lights at the historic Sydney Cricket Ground. Thought id share some photos showing the Sub with the Canon 600mm and a few of the shots of a great game that came down to the last ball. Sydney beat Perth by running out the last batsman trying for the tying run. While im a Test Cricket purist this was a cracking game! Enjoy...

Cheers...for you guys from the US this shortened version of the game of cricket is trying to replicate the excitement and colour of baseball (MLB). The game is about 3 hours with music and cheerleaders etc. Its the first season of this comp and time will tell if it works...other forms of the game are the traditional Test cricket that is played over 5 days or one day cricket that is 50 overs a side (1 day cricket). Personally im a huge baseball fan (Cubs...yes i know im a masochist!!) and visit Chicago and The Friendly Confines of Wrigley every summer. Bit of info for our US friends about cricket...cheers for comments...

It`s Japanese for in focus subject in foreground with fuzzy out of focus background in a sort of artsy compositional kind of way.

Interesting. It seems worth trying the shorter version as some may prefer it that way.

Great shot's, Brett Lee did a great job. I don't think it's on free to air? Or I would have watch it. Test cricket at the moment is a little Ho Hum, I hope we get a little more of a game in the next Test Match, or at least lasts more than 2.5 - 3 days.

AM we'll get you hooked on cricket, nothing like a cricket tragic. I'm wearing the Exp II today, poor watch has got little time over the GMT II.

Cheers Jules

HOWIZZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!. I'm a 5 day purist as well but you got to admit, a high scoring T20 that swings a dozen times in the favour of each team during the match before coming down to the final ball gets the old pulse racing .

Fantastic photos as well, thank you!.

Superb photos! Wow, is that Brett Lee? He's the last of the group I remember watching during my years in Oz. Waugh, Gilchrist, Warne, Ponting I presume are all long gone...sad. I miss going to see test matches at the SCG and the North Syndey Oval.

Thanks for sharing.
