Any such Rolex?

Platinum day-date, diamond bezel and markings, with meteorite dial?

for the DD if you go into certain dealers, they should be able to work something out for you.

If I'm not mistaken those DD are called Masterpieces (whether by Rolex or those watches' owners, I'm not sure) and you can always try to order one with those specifications. Bare in mind that the price will probably be quite amazing but so will be the watch!

Always here to help teaching people about bling!

90 000$ seems to be quite a good price given the fact that they're heavy. I believe I used to read Yume-Sama (the owner of two Masterpiece Day-Dates) saying the bracelet of one of his was around 65 000$ (although I think his had some diamonds on it) so it seems logic indeed.

a few years back my ad had a special order on a masterpiece in platinum.as i recall the watch was massive and heavy, and he let me see how it looked on my wrist.i believe there were 2 different sizes on production 36 and a 40 not including the crown.he had the 40 with a rolex diamond bezel.the watch was stunning.at the time msrp was$75000?with my wrist i would need the larger size.

It's a standard model in the new catalogue.

Page 47:

18956 BRIL

Platinum, meteorite dial with 2 diamond markers, 3.8 ct of diamonds in the bezel, 7.9 ct in the bracelet.

£183, 660

To answer the OP's original question, yes the watch exists and is not a masterpiece.

These masterpiece ones are news to me...I have never seen such a fabulous (ridiculously blingy and gaudy) Rolex in my life: in pictures or in person. Then again, I have never even seen the plain jane non-masterpiece versions.

Looks like I need to find a scanned PDF catalog with pictures...

The OP's question didn't ask about the Diamond band, just bezel and dial. Quite a difference in pricing without the Diamond band !!
