New New New..
I was just window shopping in Hong Kong. Unfortunately it was a big mistake. Walked in a few stores and I went to my AD as a last stop.
Sat down had some tea, and I tried on a GMT2C and ended up walking out with it @ 18% off msrp. [quick dirty iphone photo] One quick question, it is a U serial 99xxxxx. I can't seem to understand when its produced. |

So the lettering now doesn't show when production is anymore? I read somewhere the newest production is G? Or the # of digits following the letter determines it as random serial. |

congrats, what a great buy. Wow, at that price I would have bought it, and I already have one!!! The whole idea of the random serial is to obfuscate the date of manufacture. No one has yet "cracked" the code...
