1966 Rolex 1675 GMT Master Pepsi

A couple of weeks ago I decided to cap my collection at 4 + 1:

http://thirtyfivemill.com/my-watches/

I'd taken my collection down from 12 to 4  firm keepers which would all be worn in regular rotation instead of just stuck in my watch box to entertain the odd visitor. However, I wanted to add one more but it had to be something special as it was to mark and celebrate an exciting and significant day in my life (something I'll not bore you with now) so it needed to be one I knew I'd enjoy so much it would undoubtedly remain with me for the rest of my days. It took a fair bit of time and research to come up with exactly the watch I wanted but today when it arrived it all proved worthwhile and I'm a very happy camper.

Similar philosophy, I'm more of a watch wearer than a collector. That's a beauty and one of my favorite watches. Here's mine...

I moved this to the vintage section. Anything this good needs a proper home.

Icon14 Wow!

Beautiful watch.

Just out of interest, almost every other 1675 I've seen has a faded bezel. I personally prefer the stronger/bolder colours like this one. It must have taken some finding?

If I came across one like this for sale I'd buy it immediately. Truly stunning watch.

I paid a premium for my faded bezel and I still have the "bolder" one you referred to. They are easier to come by

Northerner, the insert was changed during service at Rolex in 1992 and the watch tucked away afterwards, hence the nearly new condition. I personally prefer this newer look as it allows me to wear the watch for both business and casual.

Here's the last pic from the series I did today that I just got round to processing:
