Got 116618LN - Thanks Tony G!!!
Been lurking your boards for some time now reading and looking for a good TRF seller. Great forum that's filled with good people and look forward to contibuting to the community. Well found a great seller in Tony! Called him in the morning a few days ago and told him what I was looking for and he said he'd dig around and get back to me. Same day that afternoon he calls back and says he got one. Score! Pics were sent money was wired and got it this morning. He was a pleasure to deal with and the easiet large money transaction I ever conuducted. Thanks again T.
Over the years I've owned 3 or 4 rolex's and had not had one since 05. All were subs as well - 2 steel lug models and last one a TT lug bluesy. This one really takes the cake. I didn't even handle a new ceramic in person, just been seeing pics on the web the last few years and was sold on the revisions to the sub line up. That being said I do have a few druthers with the new style. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing watch that I hope to own for years to come. Most of these have probably been addressed but here goes. Bracelet - Not to concerned with the width in comparison to bigger case, wider would be nice but not essential. Now the thickness of the bracelet is another deal, would love to see that beefed up a bit. Glidelock is super tastey and love it! Crystal - Flush with the bezel. I miss the old crytals that rose above the bezel, just asthetics. But, when the light hits the old models just right along the edge of the crystal you get that beautiful red-blue-green sparkle along the edge of it. Miss that a lot.. Lume - My SS lug subs both had the tritium dial. Would love to see them run with tritium still. Glowed all night long with nothing required on the users part. Ah the beauty of tritiums uses especially for night sights too! lol. However the new blue lume is way cool and I love the new color they chose. And really dig the maxi over the old standard. Just an amazing time piece that I could go on about for quite some time. In the meantime I'll just continue to drool over it. As for all 18k, it sure is a smudge magnet on these pcl's but they can't fix that right. And the feel of all gold is something that is just a really cool feeling, it's dense and hefty, really neat. Sold home recently and staying in hotel until I find new dwelling and my camera is in storage along with most of my things. And the net here moves at 9mbps, I swear when Bin Laden was living in caves he had better IT and comms than I have here. Glad to be here and look forward to chopping it up with ya'll. Oh, did I say THANKS Tony G!!! |
