Gold dust mop dial on datejust?
Anyone out there got an opinion on a 31mm dj w/ this dial. Looking for a new rolex for my better half and ran across a few of these for sale. The pics I've seen are not detailed enough for me to make a purchase decision. Lol, as far as I can tell, can't really see anything of the mop. Also considering white or champagne colored dials as well to go with a ss/yellow gold jubilee bracelet. As time permits I'll take a trip to my local AD but would like some of your thoughts.
Is it worth the extra $$? Any durability/other issues? Would you get one? Much thanks for all who've replied. |

Welcome to TRF.
In my opinion I would never buy a Rolex without at least seeing one and trying one on in person first. Pictures can be decieving and it's hard to determine how it will wear until you have actually tried one on first.

I intend to take a look see at my local AD when I get a chance. But was hoping for thoughts besides my own. I think I will like the white, champagne and gold dust all the same so was wondering if there is any advantage to getting the gold dust.
