You don't realise what you have..!

I have to tell you my TRF family..

Being Rolexless and watchless in general has seriously made me realise how much I enjoy a luxury watch on my wrist. The only luxury watch I currently own is the Breitling Chronomat Evoulution which is currently with Breitling, which means no watch for me for the past 3-4 weeks..

Enjoy your watch and don't make the crazy mistake I did flipping them every 6 months or less!! Sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side..!

After selling up all of my watches exept the one Breitling, all funds will go towards my 18k Gold Rolex whatever and whenever it may be..

KEEP THOSE WATCHES!! - You'll miss em' when they're gone!

i wish you still had the HULK, Dino...somehow, I still hold out the hope that it will find its way back home after you find a cure for Gold Fever. Good luck with your search...I am looking forward to you getting one back on the wrist soon!

Dino, I really miss reading your posts here. I was serious when I called you the Man of the Forum - you add a lot to this site.
Having worked so hard and planned so long for my watch, I can only tell you that you will appreciate your golden Rolex so much when you've finally earned it. It would be nice if The Dino (formerly known as the Hulk) did make its way back into your stable at some point, though.
Best of luck, and don't go so long between posts!!

The 6 months will go by fast. I was watch less for almost 3 months before I could pull the trigger on my Sub-C. Just stay focus my friend

Dino,

I feel your pain, sold my Sub-C last year and only have my IWC 5001. Looking to get a Rolex back on my wrist ASAP. Good luck to you my friend in your quest for the 18k!

Ergo, keep a primary and secondary backup! Don't fret Dino, you'll get your watch soon enough. Keep your eyes on the prize.

I know you said you haven't decided, but which few or many of the 18k watches are catching your eye?

How about some 18k gold Poetry:

I too have gold fever,
and am saving for the 18k daytona,
my grail,

and everytime i go to the AD
(which is right next door
to my downtown office --
when i found this out,
i just HAD to sign the lease)
I look at the green sub
and lust and druel,

but then they pull out that gold
and I have to say I'm sold.
The sub will have to wait! ;)

Best of luck to ya, rootin' here for it!

We did all tell you Dino.... Any particular reason why you rushed to sell your LVc when you still need time to save for your golden grail ????

Just one bit of advice going forward...........

Don't rush into the next one until you're absolutely 100% positive on which precise gold model you want...... It gets rather more expensive changing your mind when you're dealing with the full gold versions.....

Best of luck mate
