Rolex bracelet repair?
Does anyone know of a reliable place that repairs Rolex bracelets? I'm referring to stretched bracelets (Jubilee and Oyster), a friend of mine wants to know. I'm not sure if RSC will do it.

Just got my 18K Day/Date president back from Classicwatchparts, yesterday. Looks pretty good to me. Had to go buy an extra link, cause after removing 40 years of stretch, the bracelet was too small. My watch bracelet was worse than anything you can imagine, and it still came back looking great. No one stateside would touch it, but CWP saved an other wise useless bracelet for me.
Mine took about five months, but again I had extensive bracelet restoration done. He also repaired the watch head, and that took more time than the bracelet. As i said ealier, it took a giant leap of faith to send my 18k day/date to Hong Kong through the mail, but it worked out for me. I was pretty worried about it. Thanks Micheal Young, for making my 40 year old watch wearable again. |

Hmmmm, Guess I know where to go in Hong Kong in a couple of months when I am there, to have my polished center links on my GMT II brushed out!!

Add my name to the list of very satisfied clients of Michael Young and Classcwatchparts.com.
I occassionally receive private emails from forum members asking for reference and reassurance that Michael is on the up and up based on my own experience with my 14K Jubilee bracelet restoration. So, I'll once again say for the record that the job Michael did on my Jubilee to bring it back to like new condition, with tightened links and a refinish job, was nothing short of excellent. I had my bracelet back in four weeks, but that was back in January and I cannot vouch for Michael's work condition now. Clearly, it is a leap of faith to send a beloved piece of Rolex off to another country, sight unseen, to have it worked on, but I'm very glad I did. |
