Vintage Oyster Precision
Hi guys,
I recently put a Bond style NATO strap on my 1967 Oyster Precision and I wanted to get some honest feedback on how it looks. Also, The fox does indeed like the new strap. -C. |

Looks good to me. I prefer the bracelet but the NATO can really scratch an itch sometimes.

Umm unsure.....
I have a 1964/5 6424 which i purchased on a 19mm 6635 bracelet which I removed as it did not look good on the 20mm lugs. I have now fitted a dark brown lizard which looks great. I did try it on a number of Natos but it did not flick a switch. Lovely head though. The Wes |

Wes,
Where did you pick up the dark brown lizard strap? Care to share a picture of yours? I'm interested to see what it looks like. -C. |

I prefer the Oyster as No 1, second a classy leather strap, and last anything else.

I ended up swapping this strap out and putting on a solid black NATO strap. It looks better IMO.

i just got my first rolex and it came in a black leather band... i had to change it to brown i think for vintage watches like these, a "heritage look" works than a nato strap.

Nato straps are cool because you can change color to suit your mood, if you are so inclined. Or to match your outfit if you are retentive. They're not everyone's cup of tea, however.

A steel oyster bracelet on a sporty little watch like this is perfect

great dial you have there, sometimes called milgauss dial because of the grey texture.

These old ones are the best! My choice is also simple dial like that, without date.
