Roger, you ready for this mate?

I had the SD traded off today and the deal fell through! So I got home tonight and took of the YM and slid on the trusty old SD. As soon as that big bad boy hit my wrist the flame was again rekindled!! There is something about the watch that I love. I need to wear it more, I think that is the problem.

My wife made the comment that she thinks this watch looks perfect on me tonight. She also commented that she thinks this one and "the other one look totally different and she likes that they are both in black", she meant the SD and the 1675 with the black bezel.

So I am gonna wear this SD tonight and for a day or two and remind myself how great this one feels when it is on my wrist not the winder.

IWC Aquatimer 2000 w/ alarm. It was a sweet watch, but part of me is happy that it fell through.

You would have regretted it if you had traded it off. End up in a deep depression, dependant on drugs to keep you sane. Your wife would resent you and your children would lose respect for you. You would then contemplate suicide because of all of this.

PLEASE DMAN, DON'T DO THIS TO YOURSELF!!!!

SD for life! It fits into your collection (which is similar to mine)

LMAO, great post!!

I know, I know, I just get in these weird moods where I feel like either I need other brands in my stable or I get upset with myself for not wearing a watch enough. I just have to get over it and learn to love what I have.

I applaud you for wanting to branch out, but just save up and buy one down the road, you current collection is very nice right now so dont give one of them up to branch out.

Stop it!! I can't wear the watches I have right now, and the last thing I want to do is add more to the collection. I am very happy with three and want to keep it at that number. I am past the buying of watches I don't want just to buy, now I need to learn to enjoy the collection that I have, good luck to me!

Hey, Daren,

Listen to Roger. Don't get rid of the SD under any circumstances. It's a great watch and probably the uncrowned king in the Rolex line-up.

BTW, I wore this to work today...

Thanks, Daren. The new clasp is great. It makes the watch very comfortable, and it's very sturdy.

At work I was wearing the Pam093, at home I've changed to the Black TT Sub. It saves on auto winders.

Peter is it as comfortable as it looks? Surely heavier then the older Jubilee due to the solid links and clasp?

Hi Earl, :-)

The two parts of the clasp fit into each other, like a tongue & groove, so the profile is very low. It is very comfortable.

With the weight of the solid links, the weight is very similar to my ex-President. Nice and hefty. :-)

I've been wearing this watch every day lately. The others are getting a rest.

Peter, that's the first time I've seen the oyster bracelet on the DJ. It really looks nice, much nicer than the old Jubilee.

Oh, and BTW, this is what I'm wearing today (and will be for the rest of the week as I head out to San Diego and LA on business until Friday).

Congratulations, Ed! When did you get that?

I hope we'll see more of it.

You almost got me, Peter. I was about to post another picture of it, but decided I better practice what I am preaching lately. Moderation.

But if you would really like to see more pics of this baby, let me know. I will be more than happy to oblige.
