Great watch - was it intentional to be so close to 10:10:31 28?

Thanks - actually, it has become my most worn watch. It just gets treated with extra care and caution!

That is when Rolex advertises their watches, it always has the same time and date. I know its 10:10:31, not sure if the date is 28, though.

Anyway, GREAT picture, love the WG sub, its beautiful! Very very nice! Cheers!

I know his watch isn't quite at that time on that date, but I'm wondering if he meant it to be that close to that so famous combination.

What's noteworthy of 10:10:31 28 in Rolex is that's what all Rolexes are set to in official media (except of course for their active websites, which adjust the watches to real time).

The date and time was totally coincidental. I never knew of the significance until now.

I actually set it to 10:10 on today's date and it took me 20 minutes to get the right pose ;(

That's phenomenally coincidental. That is seriously a legendary Rolex time and date - wow!

Heck, even the Rolex 1967 President ad with the suited gentleman holding the red phone has 10:10:31 (but the date looks to be 30)
