Basel leaks?

I remember last year certain teaser photos were released or leaked shortly before Basel.  It didn't show off the whole watch, but it showed certain angles that allowed us to narrow models down and keep us guessing.  Was that just a one shot deal or can we expect some kind of hints/teaser images very soon.  I'm super excited to see what they have to offer, and to be honest, exicted to see what other companies have to offer this year!

they were the 216570 pix. if i have remembered correctly... the pix surfaced in 2010. Mr Rlex decided t pull the 216570 off the display case for Basel World 2010, and unveil it in 2011 instead. so we had to look at those leaked pix for quite a long time...

That is correct sir! I vivdly remember those pictures from 2010 on the 216570 and right then and there I said if I can't find a 1655 by the time Rolex released the 216570 in the states I would not mind paying retail for it. Looks like we have 6 more days to go until Jocke can have us or get angry!

I completely relate! What made it even worse for me was when you started this heart racing thread! (https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=196550), that's when I knew the sleepless nights would begin!

I hope they just tm it so they would have it just to have it. It's a terrible name for a watch IMO. If it was coming out this year I would think they would've tm the name much longer ago but what do I know. I no nothing about tm items.

Of course you didn't find anything there. New watches won't be posted there until after Basel announcements.
