SubC on 6.25" Wrist?
Could a SubC be sized to properly fit my 6.25" wrist with the clasp centered on the bottom of the wrist? If so, what links would need to be removed? Does anyone with a similar wrist size have photos to demonstrate?

Yup...but the clasp may take up most of the underside of your wrist.
My wrist is 6.5". I don't have a Sub C, but on my Sub 16610, I had to have the diver extension basically crippled and leave only about 4 links on the 6 o'clock side. |

yes.
sub-c, random serial gmtIIc and daytona, datejust II, day-dateII, new explorerII, yachtmasterII and others models released after sub-c now have three fixed links and two removable links on the 6 o'clock side. remove one or two links on the 6 o'clock side depending on how tight or loose you wear a watch and one link on the 12 o'clock side. then fine-tune the fit by adjusting the glidelock feature of the clasp found only on sub-c bracelet. pre sub-c bracelets are really a pain in the ass to fit on small wrists because there are at five links on the 6 o'clock side and they are all fixed. even for a 6.5" wrist, the clasp will never be on the middle. it will always be toward the 12 o'clock side which is really frustrating to see that the watch is not hugging the wrist nicely. removing links is easy. just use a 1.1mm wide or narrower flathead screwdriver similar to those being used in tightening the screws of eyeglasses (or just bring your watch to the hardware section so you can try the fit of the screwdriver). when turning, hold the screwdriver firmly so that it doesn't slide out of the screwhead and scratch your bracelet. i hope this answers your query. |

how were you able leave 4 links on the 6 o'clock side when there are 5 links on that side that are all fixed and not removable? or are you referring to the 12 o'clock side?

I think its 4 links on both sides that are non-removeable but that could just be my Daytona.
Anyways, I think there is some sort of tutorial here somewhere that shows how you can even remove the the permanent links. I think its just a matter of playing around with it at the AD and taking off enough links and then moving the clasp adjustment until you find the setting you need to be centered. |

SS Sub-C LN here, 6.3 inch wrist. I like to wear my watches a bit looser than the "pinky rule". I have 3 full and a half links on the 6-hour side, and 5 full links on the other side. I didn't count the links inside the GlideLock clasp, but only the ones outside.
Here's how it looks like on my wrist: Sorry for the stickers, they're long gone (photos are a year old). To make the watch fit like the "pinky rule", then I just have to move the GlideLock 2 notches in. This is a great clasp, I love it. Even though it looks quite enermous on my thin wrist
