My Yachtmaster II
Picked it up on Friday and I believe it is the first in the UK. Just took these two pics indoors and it's night-time here.
I'm aware of the controversy surrounding this watch and until I saw it in the flesh was still undecided. I have a yellow gold YM I too so can appreciate why the design might have shocked a few people. But seeing it on my wrist just did it for me. Did I say this watch was big, oh and heavy? That's where much of the price difference is and of course the bezel is platinum. The movement is very clever indeed but unless you're heavily into sailing just think of it as the world's most exclusive egg timer Will take some better lit shots tomorrow. |

Congrats!
The white gold version is much more good-looking than the YG version! Looks nice on your wrist!

I love the new YM II, I can see where peeps are coming from when the say they dont like it, but for me, its almost as good as the Daytona.
Enjoy it, it looks amazing. |

Yes, I have a yellow gold Yachtmaster I, and a yellow gold Daytona with white face with alligator strap. I also have an Omega Seamaster Quartz for when I'm doing manual work. Can't get interested in any other brands - been a Rolex nut for the last 20 years |

Wow awesome Magnum!
You are very lucky indeed, i think its one of the coolest watches around, plus the technology, larger size and unique design. I'm platinum with envy! I also like the yellow gold model, both look ultra cool. |

It's more than an egg timer. Steaks too I bet. And fish. The options are endless. The ultimate chef's Rolex.
Congrats! Your pics really are better than the official ones!

Since the price here in the States has been entirely speculative, could you please tell us what one would expect to pay in $US for that trinket?

The full retail price in the UK is £17,900 which at today's exchange rate is just over $36,000. I'm not sure what sort of discount you can get in the US but over here 20% would be a good deal.

Many congratulations & welcome, first time I've seen one in the flesh (so to speak), sitting on your wrist it looks like it weighs a ton (compliment). Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more pics, wear it in good health
