IT landed..........FINALLY
...........................and I love it! The FedEx delivery person took my signature at 9:38AM this morning! Long story short..........I had an Omega Speedmaster for about 12 years and sold it to fund other purchases. I have missed that chrono since I sold it. So, I bought an IWC Pilot Chrono but just didn't sing to me like the Speedy did. I have been on the hunt for quite sometime now tracking down this beauty......wasn't easy! First I want to thank Dan Pierce and DiamondJack and others on this forum for helping me along with this purchase. Lastly, patience was a virtue as I had the opportunity to purchase other pieces but was patient and held out for the right one! Ok Ok.....enough words and suspense. Here are the pics. I hope you guys like it as much as I love it! Not only did I become a member of the Tudor Club....also the Big Block Club and the Holey Case Club!
All 3 with this 1 purchase! I cannot get over the condition of this beauty! Couple of slight dings in the tach bezel but other than that just pristine! Complete Box & Papers were a big plus for me as well. |

Guys-
Thanks for all the kind words and compliments. I have hunted this thing down for almost a year! Did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions. It was well worth the wait. I think my 16610 is going to see some serious downtime for awhile. It is well deserved, it has been my daily workhorse for 1.5 years. It will be fun to go back and forth with the sub and this new Tudor! A special thanks to Dan Pierce for fielding all my PM's and getting back to me. He is truly the Tudor "go to guy" in my book! It helped me so much over the last month or so as I narrowed down the selection. Steve |
