when did rolex update the datejust last?
i dont want to buy a new one if they will be coming out with a new version soon

they just updated it last year I guess. There was a major change and a major price increase on the TTs as they now have solid center links and a hidden Prez-style clasp

The NEW style DJ came in 2004:
Wider, polished lugs Updated Jubilee and Oyster bracelets Chapter ring branding with "ROLEXROLEX" and serial number engraved at 6 o' clock.

Rolex updated the 16710 GMT II (or rather: discontinued it) and launched the 116710LN with ceramic bezel this year.
