rhodium dial roman datejust question

Hi guys,

Could anyone confirm whether there is a fine black line on the WG hands of the Rhodium Dial Roman SS Datejust? Rolex web site shown a fine black line on the hands, while my AD has only WG hands without that black line. Can one order it with and without it? See the image attached (not my picture).

Thanks!

Those appear to be Daytona hands. I have never seen hands like that on a modern DateJust. That is definitely NOT the way the watch left the factory.

Thanks for clarifying this. I appreciate your answers. If you look on Rolex web site, that watch does have the same painted hands though. May be it is just a light reflection.

I agree they aren't genuine DJ hands. But they aren't Daytona either...
Jocke had a Silver Dial Roman DJ with black hands but they looked different.

To the OP - please take this as an abundance of caution and not an accusation. Please share the website where you got that picture...

Your other posts looking for pictures of a Rhodium Dial Datejust give us pause to reflect.

I have seen those hands before but they were yellow/black and were fake. I suspect that is a replica, or a DJ with non-Rolex hands? If it's fake we don't discuss them here...

that is not a fake. Patrick A had this watch for sale. I checked back with him and he said that it is just the light reflection. Indeed, there are no hands with black line, they are all WG. Thanks guys for your feed back.

Those hands do have a black line on that watch. You can even see it on Rolex's website. My guess is they have it like this for readability against the rhodium dial.
