Icon7 First Rolex just landed - 214270 Explorer

Just like to share with you my entry into the Rolex fraternity with a brand spanking new Explorer 39mm. I've read that this is a bit on the big size and that the minute hand is too small, but to me this watch exemplifies simplicity, understated elegance, refined sportiness and sheer quality.

Absolutely delighted with this piece which I hope will be with me for a long time to come.

The attached pic is poor quality, so apologies, but it's the watch's first photo while it was only a few minutes old. It barely had the cord cut...!

It's a beautiful looking watch.
I tried one on only this afternoon at my AD but It didn't speak to me, which is a shame.
Wear it in good health.

Top banana! I shall be in the same boat tomorrow or Monday. It's an exceptionally fine choice!

Thanks for all the good wishes, guys. Delighted to finally be in such distinguished company!

I'll play around with my SLR over the weekend and see if I can get some decent pics up.
