Removing the band
I was wondering if there's a specific tool that you can buy that allows you to take the band off a Rolex easily.

You could use a spring bar tool like this, or just as good, a screwdriver. Like you say, there's a nack to putting it back on but once you've mastered it, it's simple enough. Maybe practice on a chepo first?
