Another WWYG Thread!
Although clearly a personal choice, i thought i would throw it out there for consideration...
thinking about picking up rolex #2 and am pretty torn - What Would You Get if Rolex #1 was a SS ceramic GMT? 1) NIB Anniversary Sub LV 2) NIB SS Black Daytona I was pretty much decided on the LV (and was actively looking) - BUT i saw a black daytona for the first time yesterday and WOW!!! my guess is, i would have both eventually down the road sometime so it may boil down to which might be harder to source a year or two from now. any thoughts??? they are both really nice additions to the GMT i think and i definitely like both...so many watches.... |

I'd take the black Daytona to add diversity to the collection!

Very tough choice! Flip a coin! Heads get the Daytona, Tails get the Sub... Either way you can't lose! Good luck!

The problem with the black Daytona is that it is almost impossible to read the subdials. I'd look for a white or meteorite Daytona. The meteorite is my grail watch.

tough crowd! one sub :)
i thought about the legibility issues with the black dial also...i know this is going to be heresy but i dont think the subdials will be getting a tremendous amount of use either way so am thinking maybe it is not as big an issue as i was originally thinking also |

If I were in that predicament, I would opt for the Daytona.

yes, the sub would be the 'older', discontinued, non-ceramic LV

Daytona. If it was a SS LVc id get it. Don't like the green metal insert.
