When It Comes To Rolex Price Matters!
When it comes to rolex price really matters. The business of rolex was currently been promoted in a way that the purchaser is made to feel that if the person buy a s/s daytona he won't loose and may also make profit later .
Today let us compare prices among the purchasers of rolex for this fiscal year of 2007. 1]W/G Daytona with bracelet Silver Arab dial-I paid for USD19340 anyone paid lower..........? 2]Yatchmaster platinum bazel size 40mm with stainless steel bracelet i paid for USD6300 anyone paid lower..................? 3]Submeriner blue dial two tone bracelet i bought many years ago so need prices from people purchased this year. the lowest price paid..........? 4]Rolex GMT11 new ceramic dial with bracelet lowest price paid..........................? 5]Stainless Steel Daytona white/black face with bracelet lowest price paid.....................? 6]GMT11 Black/Red Bazel or Pepsi Bazel with bracelet lowest price paid................? 7]Platinum bracelet president date just lowest price paid ................? 8]Oyster ladies two tone date just DIAMOND IN THE DIAL i paid USD 4500 lowest price paid............? Please sujjest any other models with lowest price paid please give description of the watch so the first timers and us regulars do not get burned with some of his profiteering AD's Lets see if Another One Bites The Dust |

the reason Rolex increase its price for every production series is very simple - it creates a sense of value-retain for its customers. eg if i bought a Z-series Sea-Dweller this year at $5,000 , and Rolex increases price of its M-series (latest production batch) by 5% the following year , instead of my watch depreciating after 1year of use , its value actually retained . i will feel that my purchase was really a good one because this is like an investment to me ! you put money in stocks and shares and certainly you want to see its value go up . Rolex preserve the value of your purchase and thereby creating the image to the world that every Rolex is an investment and a valuable commodity. They are not going to make any more watches than they are now (1mil per year) , and that's the way things are going to be for now and maybe till the next century !

$7900 last October which was the recently increased MSRP at the time. Black dial SS Daytona purchased from an AD in the Bahamas. No tax, no duty.

Never bought my watch to realise an appreciation in value.
If you can't afford to loose on it you could never afford it in the first place. f |

There are a couple of newer member who, as it turns out, only paid $150 for their SS "Daytonas".
After getting ripped by the fakefinder members they post no more.

Im surprised the amount of people that actually try to pull it off ??? I do look forward to those threads.. Can be very amusing when they keep trying to insist its real even when their stories are exposed. Some classics in recent history. |
