I'm approaching the point where I need to get my Z serial Datejust and M serial Submariner serviced. This is the first time i've had to service any of my watches and wanted to ask the UK members about the protocol for getting them services by the RSC UK which I believe is in Kent. My questions are;

Can you send the watches direct to Rolex or do you have to do it via and AD?

How to you send the watches as it's too far away from where I live and more importantly how do you do it securely?

How long does it take?

How much does it cost??

you can send them direct or best do it through your AD if you worried about posting it cost not sure give them a call .they are about 30mins from me. think you pay more if you send it via AD they are based at west malling kent

You can send securely by Royal Mail Special Delivery. I retail high end cufflinks etc and have, over the years, posted hundreds of packages by SD and non has been lost or compromised. However you will only be able to insure for £2.5k which is the limit.

Mate the RSC is in kings hill in Kent. Take a drive down there if you can and they will do an appraisal on the spot. If you agree to their appraisal you can leave the watch with them and then sit back and wait for them to call.....feel good that you have just saved two weeks by going direct as if you give to your AD he has to send the watches, then they have to do the appraisal, then you will need to ok the appraisal etc....cannot fault RSC kings hill, so helpful and efficient....I was really pleased with my yachtmaster recently and the chap even gave me a spare service pouch when I asked and they pop up for around £25 on other sites!!!

RSC is great. Watchmaker front of house to do small adjustments while you wait. Only ever had good dealings with then although that was when it was at Bexley. I'm sure it's the same now it's at King's Hill.
