Beautiful watch (although the numbers look like they've been relumed by a shakey hand).
If you buy the watch, ask for the rights to the pictures too - nice well-lit shots.

I totally agree with nowzen. Nice watch but I think after the new wore off the dial would start to bug me. One of those "It looks good from far, but far from good" if you know what I mean, but I'm no expert.

Hmmm, it does seem to be the only Ranger ETA 2402 on the internet, which makes it extremely 'rare'.

Now Tudor Prince Ranger Reference 7996/0 with ETA 2484 now this watch must be the most faked Tudor around so be very careful if its a real Ranger, all Rangers I have seen were auto.

I'm no expert on movements but don't think I've ever seen a rotor like that before. That's not to say its not original though.
Hope Stan (tudorman) or one of our other experts will review to get some concrete answers for you.

...7966 case came with either a 2462 or 2484, AUTO wind movement.

...the movement pictured is a manual movement.

...additionally, IF the watch pictured is a 7996, it likewise used ONLY the 2462 or 2484, AUTO wind movement!

...the seller has FABRICATED a watch for monetary gain...

Sorry, but tudor rangers should be avoided unless you really know what you are doing. in this case the dial is pristine... and the rest of the watch is likely new or mix n match parts.

Unfortunately, the dial is pristine because the original watch post on TZ states it is 'refinished'.

...while the seller is forthcoming about the dial refi, the good news is that the watch has a 2824, a WORKHORSE of a movement and STILL used today by several brands including BALL watches.

Yup a 2824 is a good movement but there is something wrong in this mix. So i'd say it's a prince oysterdate with the wrong dial, crystal and hands.
