Really?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123

Would you believe this dealer offered to trade this Daytona, I think it is a 2004, for four watches I own PLUS 8K! A 1977 GMT Master 1675 with all original boxes and paper that I bought new, just serviced 3/21/12. a 1972 TT Datejust 1601 with Jubilee bracelet, just serviced 1/24/12, and two very nice collectibles. A 1945 Rolex Oyster Centregrah, and a 1952 LeCoultre Memovox. Both are original except the crystals and leather bands were replced.
What is it with a used Daytona? Did Paul Newman give his blessing to everyone that left Rolex?

He said he picks up GMT 1675's all day for $3000. I'll bet they are really nice and he will even take the back off to show you the movement is real Rolex.

If he's so smart, perhaps he bought the 116520 for $5,000.

Still selling it for $12,000 though.

Your watches could go for over $12,000 themselves, subject to originality and condition. A $3,950 trade-in offer is a bit, well .......

While the offer was dumb, what's the expression? If you don't ask, you never know?

Well it does have a "meteorite dial"...

That's quite an offer he gave you, I hope you'll give it a good thought!

I have never seen a ss daytona in TRF for over 11k, and most F serial (2004) are under 10k from what i'v seen. keep looking.

I think it's the AD price, am I right?

Either way it is way too expensive indeed!

A "Full Rolex Service" and a 1 year warrantee. I thought RSC gave a 2 year warrantee.
