What's up with this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/320892233163...84.m1423.l2649

2007 model, no reserve, and feedback shows seller has dealt in nothing but welding and car stuff.

I can't tell anything from the one pic plus I am not an expert. But if Iwas on the market for a Daytona I would be interested in bidding. Why? The buyer takes Amex as a form of payment and Amex has a great fraud protection program. You would be safe in case it turn out to be "ugly".

I am looking for a Daytona and have been watching this for days. It just seems to good to be true. I have been buying and selling on ebay since 1998 and I sure would not risk a valuable item with no reserve or buy it now price. I am going to watch to the end and would be very interested but would like to see many more photos.

I agree that most on ebay are honest. Buy the seller is right. I have never had an ebay problem in 14 years, but I think I will pass on this one and stick closer to a forum member that is selling.

There are many respected sellers on ebay like anything you buy today always buy the seller.

Have you asked the seller for more photos? As a seller on the bay I've always been more than happy to provide addtitional info/pics for a genuine buyer.

Always pays to read the fine print, and so few of us do.

So is someone going to bid on this or just sit here and wish upon a star?

I would ask for several more pictures before bidding or concluding anything

I'd pass on that. I would rather wire DavidSW and have it the next day.

I know it's sold. "Comes with chronograph certifications ...". What is that?

IMO, anyone who buys an expensive item sight unseen, from an unknown source, is leaving themselves open to be burned. Why risk it; unless you have money to throw away? Too many reputable sellers here with stellar reputations.
