Ebay 160792491881

This listing shows a Rolex President in yellow gold in a Rolex box. There's a green sticker on the back that says 16233. Isn't that supposed to be a model number?

If so, that's sure not the model number of a yg president. Fake, right?

I emailed the guy and he said regarding 16233 being the model number:

Yes, it does, it is essentially the verification numbers for the
specific band of the watch. So the model numbers may be identical on
other pieces with the day and date oyster perpetual presidential time
pieces

He also said he bought the watch at the Rolex dealer on fifth avenue in New York.

My BS detector is going off.

Ebay item number 160792491881

The 16233 is a two-tone datejust, not a day-date. I'd run away.

Here is some more info.
I noticed it also this afternoon

Me :

Dear
How old ?
Invoice ?
Papers ?
Where bought ?
Serial number ?
Number on bracelet ?

Thanks

He:

All of the above yes. It was bought on fifth ave in NYC at Rolex USA. It does have the serial numbers

Me :
Serialnumber is normally on the papers
Otherwise if you remove the bracelet on top the model number - on bottom serial number.
Inside the bracelet next to the watch does it says 14K or 18K
Is there a stamp of 750 on it ?

Thanks

He :
the serial number is 72200 and it is is 18k

So . . . .

HAGOne
