NEW Arrival: DJII 116334 Blue Index
Hey guys,
The FedEx truck just pulled away a few minutes ago, so I snapped a quick pick of the newest addition to my collection. (NOTE: I did not even size it up or remove the stickers yet, but I just couldn't wait to share!) Last weekend, I was out of town, so I stopped by the AD to have a little fun and I stumbled across this watch by accident. I had only seen it in pictures prior to this occasion. The blue dial is absolutely stunning. It is basically the blue version of the Sub C LV dial. It turns black off angle in indoor light (See Pic #3) and has a vibrant sunburst effect in brighter environments (See Pic #2). It is a very dark shade and is quite mesmerizing. After returning home, I contacted the sellers on the forum and found that DavidSW had one BNIB at a great price...the rest is history. I have always loved the bold, fluted WG bezel on the DJII and with the stick markers I think it gives the watch a sporty character that I can dress up or down. It even looks great with shorts and a T-shirt. My collection was dominated by sport models, so I wanted a nice change of pace and this watch fills that role perfectly. I will take more pics when I get it sized up and have removed the stickers:) Thanks for looking!

Yes...I purchased two Black Roman dial DJIIs (last two in stock) at the Jared liquidation for 40% off. I was able to sell them both for a nice profit. The Blue Index dial was always my favorite, because I prefer the generous lume on the stick dial and the blue is so incredibly unique. I also find the stick dial to be easier to wear with more casual attire, so it looks just as good dressed up, as it does with my shorts and polo shirts.

I look forward to seeing some 904L on your wrist again soon. Thanks, Alex! This watch is a joy to photograph. The dial is so vibrant that it is hard to take a bad pic.

That blue dial does look amazing! Just wish the stick markers were a little smaller, or that it was available with roman numerals. As it is, the contrast of the white sticks is too much IMO.
Congrats on the new acquisition!
