My dad came round this evening sporting a new to him Rolex. He has picked up a rather nice two-tone Date Just with pierced lug holes and a gold face on a jubilee bracelet. It dates from 1990, has all its papers and has been recently serviced. It is immaculate so must have been polished, but the polishing has been sympathetic. It has a two year warranty and the only noticeable wear is a little stretch in the bracelet.

I am no expert on used prices, but I think that the £2700 he paid seems very reasonably. Sorry, no pictures, but would be interested to hear your thoughts on the price.
