Hello and finally pulled the trigger on a 216570!
This board has been a wealth of great information! I've been torn between the Sub, GMT and Explorer for about 20 years and finally decided to pull the trigger today. For whatever reason, each time I went to buy one, I never did.
I have a Datejust I inherited from my Grandfather in 1980 and a couple Breitlings (16 year old Avistar and 10 year old Avenger Seawolf), but never picked up a modern Rolex. I was really happy with the release of the 216570. Well, enough with the talk and on to my silly first iPhone pic! Cheers! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Congratulations and welcome to TRF!
I just joined you. I just purchased a polar 216570 which I will have on Monday. I had one that I tried for about a week, and absolutely was smitten. Had to move something out of the collection to justify and the price hike was the final push.

All~
Thank you for the warm welcome. I, too, saw the price increase as one catalyst to pull the trigger. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the following weeks. My next dilemma is which one to get next. I'm not waiting another 20 years! I have a habit of picking up things in threes. I can't help myself. |
