Looks like a tough track this year. I know its a controversial subject but I like to see events where par is a good score. When coming down 18 needing to make par is scary for them.

Last year, the USGA gave it to Rory on "championship" sunday in order to try to build up a new challenger to Tiger, with their easy ass pin placements. It was a complete joke... players were shooting at the pin from the rough on Sunday. This year, players will be happy with a bogey from the rough. One under will win it... and it'll be Tiger.

This deserves a kick. Where are the golf fans?

Now they are playing on a real course and Rory has, predictably, fizzled. Phil and Bubba were just to wild to hang yesterday. Graeme McDowell has the game to contend this year. This guy, Thompson, will be long gone by the end of today and it's time for the big names to rise to the top.

On edit: It looks like the morning starters are getting pummelled into submission today. Some big names have really blown up!
