Incoming in 13.5 hrs...(It only took 2 years)

I have been waiting for this watch for 2 years and finally found the one in Andrew Shear "Super Mint" condition. Since I can't ask Sam (Fremstar) to do my teaser thread, Roger Federer is the next best option. It isn't my birth year watch, but the year I was conceived if that counts for anything LOL! Should arrive tomorrow morning.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EgRei8io54

And now we officially have confirmation that his isn't a prototype

Mike!! Congrats!! You finally found it!! I saw that piece too on his site and absolutely loved it....unfortunately, I have my hands full at the moment with couple other acquisitions so that piece has to wait :( But I am glad that it is going to a great home and one that I know which is even better!! Pics Are In

Andrew Shear once again makes dreams come true! My dog Kingsley even took an interest in this model. Any suggestions on what my next choice should be? That magazine on the left is nothing but trouble. LOL!

WOW! Great pick up! That thing is exquisite!

Vintage Daytonas have REALLY been growing on me lately - Thank God they are sooooooo damn far out of my price range! Seriously, I'm relieved! HA!

Great watch though - wear it in good health!

I can't seem to take this damn thing off. Had to try it out with my T & CO Wedding Band. Looking forward to putting them both together next month. Maybe I should rethink this whole marriage thing and purchase more watches. JK!

I don't normally like the Cosmograph, but I have loved this particular model since I saw a picture of Joseph Abboud wearing one in a GQ interview. I still have that page somewhere.

Congrats, goog53 It really is a beautiful example.

Here's the Joseph Abboud picture I mentioned. From June 1994:
