Sold my Red 1680... Got a violet 1675 w/ lots more character.

Sold my Red Sub and picked up...

my "new" vintage '77 1675. Thanks to Jacek @ HQ Milton.

the patina is amazingly even and super creamy. that and a violet pepsi bezel. #inlove.

Absolutely gorgeous! One day, I'd love to go see HQ Milton and meet Jacek. I'm very jealous of what he does.

Beautiful watch. So many Reds around - I think that was a good choice!

Yes, alot more character indeed.
Whatever make you happy is the way to go. Never mind what is the most popular or the most expensive. If this 1675 makes you smile more than great choice.

I as well believe my pcg 1675 has more character than my mf 1680 red. It is the only one in my collection that is untouchable.

Gentlemen,

Thank you very much for the compliments. The Red was certainly more expensive and desirable to most, but I've gotten 3x the amount of compliments from wearing the 1675. But more importantly i just don't see this combination quite often... There will be room one day for another red, it will just have to be a DRSD.

Will try to get some wrist shots shortly.
